FCR is linked with community and sponsorship initiatives, including support for the Badamasi Burji Foundation — a philanthropic platform associated with the company’s founder.
Badamasi Burji Foundation community outreachThe company has also partnered with several government and trade organizations that scale impact and reach, including: RMRDC, SMEDAN, NEPC, NAFDAC, NEXIM Bank, and the Nigerian Customs Service. These partnerships support CSR outcomes through grants, research, and trade facilitation.
FCR has benefitted from research and export support, including grants of over ₦30 million from NEPC referenced in company introduction materials.
CSR Activities
School Support Program
Donated school supplies and refurbished classrooms in as part of our educational support initiative. This project improves learning conditions and encourages school attendance for children in underserved communities.
Medical Outreach
Organized free medical checkups and hygiene sensitization for residents . This outreach helped improve health awareness, sanitation, and access to basic medical care.
Farmer & Supplier Training
Conducted capacity-building workshops for smallholder farmers supplying groundnuts and spices. The training covered best practices in handling, quality control, and sustainable sourcing techniques.
Youth Skills & Entrepreneurship Program
Hosted vocational training sessions on food processing, packaging, and entrepreneurship to empower young Nigerians with practical business skills and startup support.
